What's the difference between hinduism, Buddhism and sikhism?

What's the difference between hinduism, Buddhism and sikhism? I know that theyre all India's religion, but how are they diffferent? HELP!|||Hinduism is polytheistic religion though they confess there is one but supreme Lord. They worship many deities and also believe in idol worship and lamp lit worship of deities. It is full of rituals. Many of them are drenched in righteous ritual activities that forget the real motive of religion. Though this religion is telling the clear cut way to reach the supreme Lord. This is the religion of very ancient ages. they are vegetarians teetotaler, believe in reincarnation hell and heaven.

The Name is the best thing in the Vedas. That they hear not and wander like demons.

Says Nanak, they, who forsake truth and cling to falsehood, lose their life in gamble.

Buddhism was started by Gautam Buddha. This is the philosophy of living a good proper life and can not be called a religion since they do not say there is any God. They believe in rebirth and liberation with good conduct.

The Three Trainings or Practices:

Sila: Virtue, good conduct, morality. This is based on two fundamental principles:

The principle of equality: that all living entities are equal.

The principle of reciprocity: This is the "Golden Rule" in

Christianity -- to do onto others as you would wish them to do

onto you. It is found in all major religions.

Samadhi: Concentration, meditation, mental development. Developing one's mind is the path to wisdom which in turn leads to personal freedom. Mental development also strengthens and controls our mind; this helps us maintain good conduct.

Prajna: Discernment, insight, wisdom, enlightenment. This is the real heart of Buddhism. Wisdom will emerge if your mind is pure and calm.

Though do not believe in God hell or heaven, I think the true followers of Buddhism are better than those believers of God doing bad.

Sikhism is the essence of the religions. This is the easy going path to reach God. Baptize your self first and only meditate on name of Lord and forget every thing. The true Guru Himself takes you to the God and emancipates you. It is based on the scriptures of ten Gurus started by the first Guru, Guru Nanak Dev. The divine Guru Light went on shifted to the successive Guru till Guru Gobind Singh and now rests with the Holy Book of Sikhism Guru Granth Sahib, the true literature pronounced by first five of the ten Gurus. No living being is honored as Guru by the true followers of Sikhism. Being baptized as per the custom of 10th Guru, having the five symbols with, one becomes the Saint Soldier, who can not only protect himself but helpful against the cruelty in the social network.

He who meditates on the Preserver of the World,

obtains the Supreme Dignity whether he is educated or uneducated.

In the society of saints, do thou contemplate over the Word Cherisher.

Without the Name, false are the wealth and property. Pause.|||Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism are all major religions in India.

Hinduism is a religion with many gods. There are a few unifiying beliefs to Hindus, but their particular worship and belief varies largely. They believe in karma and karmic reincarnation. Karma is the belief that what we do in this life will influence the next. Buddhism shares this view, but is a religion with no need for gods. Buddhists focus on meditation and daily living more than worship and veneration. Sikhism is a monotheistic religion based on the teachings of Guru Nanak. Sikhism teaches love and tolerance for all people and stresses family values. Sikhism also believes in karmic rebirth, however, they strive for a union with God which they call salvation.

I hope this helped!

God Bless!|||Hinduism can be polytheistic or monotheistic, Buddhism has no real God per say and is much a philosophy as a religion, and Sikhism is a variant of Islam.|||budhism and sikhism are religion based on thinking are gurus
