How do i start my paper about Buddhism?

I'm writing a research paper about Buddhism. What i'm specifically writing about are concepts, practice, and history.


However, i don't know how to start my paper?


All i have so far is..





Buddhism is one of the largest religions practiced today. It is traditionally envisioned as a path of salvation achieved through insight into the ultimate nature of reality. Buddhism includes a variety of practices, traditions, and beliefs that are largely based on the teachers of Siddhartha Gautama, otherwise known as the Buddha.

You say you are specifically writing about concepts, practice, and history, but do you realize that this covers just about everything in Buddhism? If you still have the chance, it may be smart to limit yourself a bit, otherwise you can easily write a whole library full.|||do a freeflow chart of the ideas and concepts you'd like to cover, leaving room for more as they develop after you read about the concepts, practices, and history of Buddhism, then use that to organize an outline. Use the outline to develop your sentences, and save the first paragraph for last...write it last. Use the format: tell them what you're going to tell them, then tell them, then tell them what you told them...that is intro, body, conclusion. But never, ever write the first sentence first.
