According to Buddhism and Hinduism how does one achieve liberation from the cycle?

The aim of life in Buddhism is to achieve nirvana and the aim of life in Hinduism is to achieve moksha...Both essentially the same thing: liberation from the cycle of birth and death.....

According to the teachings of these religions how does one actually accomplish this?|||enlightenment

lives of virtue until all karma is good and the Wheel of Samsara no longer turns

Hinduism accepts that we have atman( the basic inner eternal and infinite divine self) and Buddhism rejects this

Buddhism emphasizes the extinction of passion|||Nothing short of enlightenment (the attaining of abiding non-dual awareness).

Note to Fireball, there are other religions besides Christianity and in those religions Jesus isn't the superhero. Grow up.|||One believes in a permanent self the other doesn't

Just different methods ?

@fireball answers longest serving troll remembering her/his place on answers|||Best liberation from the cycle is the motorcar.|||By achieving inter-awareness, and knowledge of God and self.|||Get an automobile!|||By reaching enlightenment|||BY REPENTING AND CHOOSING JESUS...
